6th Paralympic Panorama Concludes with Strong Public Participation and the Support of HELLENiQ ENERGY

A special celebration dedicated to the values of equality, inclusion and sport took place in the heart of Athens, with the 6th Paralympic Panorama drawing large crowds to Monastiraki Square.

For the third consecutive year, people of all ages had the opportunity to experience the Paralympic Movement first-hand, watch demonstrations of seven Paralympic sports and interact with distinguished athletes and Paralympians, whose presence conveyed powerful messages of strength, perseverance and equal participation.

The event was organised by the Hellenic Paralympic Committee in cooperation with the City of Athens and the City of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organisation, known as OPANDA. Once again, the initiative was supported by HELLENiQ ENERGY, Gold Sponsor of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee.

The sports featured at the Paralympic Panorama were Boccia, Wheelchair Basketball, Sitting Volleyball, Amputee Football, Blind Football, Para Table Tennis and Para Badminton, offering visitors an interactive introduction to Paralympic sport.

Representatives of the State and local government, members of the Greek Paralympic Team and prominent figures from Greek sport attended the event.
