Corporate Responsibility

As part of its Corporate Responsibility program, we reward outstanding young achievers who wish to pursue full-time postgraduate studies at universities in Greece and abroad, implementing the Group’s scholarship program for a 14th consecutive year.

Through a new equipment donation to the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), HELLENiQ ENERGY is contributing to the refurbishment and upgrade of 22 communal areas within the University’s student residences, with the aim of directly improving students’ everyday living experience.

HELLENiQ ENERGY has donated equipment to the student residences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with the aim of directly improving the everyday living conditions of their residents. The initiative includes modern, functional furnishings for hundreds of students living in university accommodation.

HELLENiQ ENERGY is strengthening its long-standing commitment to women’s empowerment through the creation of “Athina”, a modern multi-purpose centre in Athens developed in partnership with Médecins du Monde Greece to provide holistic support for women in vulnerable circumstances. In 2026, the Company’s initiatives in Athens, Thessaloniki and Komotini are expected to support more than 400 women, with HELLENiQ ENERGY volunteers actively contributing to initiatives with a meaningful social impact.

The “PIKILI STOA” social café is a new meeting place where all members of the community can come together and connect. Operated by the “Oloi Emeis Mazi” organisation, with HELLENiQ Petroleum as its Major Sponsor, the café aims to support the smooth integration of people with intellectual disabilities into the labour market.

With the support of HELLENiQ Petroleum, a significant step has been taken towards the digital transformation of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy. Critical equipment has been replaced to enhance functionality and cybersecurity, while the Ministry’s overall digital infrastructure is being upgraded and its operational capabilities strengthened.

Through the creation of the "Park of the Senses" in the Municipality of Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, HELLENiQ ENERGY reinforces urban greenery and creates a new point of connection with nature for residents and visitors. More than 100 company employees and their families volunteered to help transform the park.

HELLENiQ ENERGY continues to invest in environmental education for the younger generation by implementing experiential environmental programmes across six municipalities in the Thriasio Plain and Western Thessaloniki. Delivered in partnership with environmental organisations, the initiatives introduced children to key concepts relating to nature conservation, with a particular focus on biodiversity, water resources and marine life.

HELLENiQ ENERGY continues to support civil protection and forest preservation efforts through the donation of three modern firefighting vehicles to the Association of Municipalities for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Mount Pentelicus, strengthening the organisation's emergency response capabilities and operational readiness.

With the support of HELLENiQ ENERGY and strong public participation, the 6th Paralympic Panorama concluded successfully in Monastiraki Square. Featuring seven Paralympic sports, the unique event offered a celebration of sport and inclusion, highlighting the Group’s ongoing support for the Hellenic Paralympic Committee and its athletes’ daily efforts.

As Gold Sponsor of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, HELLENiQ ENERGY is supporting the Greek team at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, reaffirming its commitment to promoting participation, equal opportunities and talent development.

As Gold Sponsor of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, HELLENiQ ENERGY organised a series of initiatives in Athens, Thessaloniki and Aspropyrgos, giving students the opportunity to experience first-hand the values of equality, diversity and inclusion through Paralympic sport.

As part of its Support Programme for Social Welfare Organisations in Neighbouring Municipalities, HELLENiQ ENERGY carried out a series of community support initiatives during the festive season, providing tangible assistance to local communities. Through the Programme, more than 1,700 families across the Thriasio Plain, Western Thessaloniki and Kozani receive consistent monthly support, while over 1,600 tonnes of food have been distributed since its launch, making a meaningful and sustained contribution towards meeting essential food needs.

With over 350 employees from six countries lacing up their running shoes, the HELLENiQ ENERGY Running Team made a truly standout appearance at the 42nd Athens Authentic Marathon, championing a message of unity, solidarity, and social impact.

Over 1,000 primary school pupils from neighboring municipalities engaged in educational awareness programs. At the same time, volunteer beach clean-up initiatives in Aspropyrgos (Attica) and Kalochori (Thessaloniki) led to the collection of more than 1,500 kilograms of waste.
