Applications Open for HELLENiQ ENERGY’s High School Graduate Recognition Programme

For 18 years, we have supported young people who excel in Greece’s Panhellenic Examinations through the “Empowering Youth” programme. Since 2009, more than 5,700 high-achieving high school graduates from the Thriasio Plain, Western Thessaloniki and Kozani have been recognised for their academic performance.

HELLENiQ ENERGY is opening its online application platform for the “Empowering Youth” High School Graduate Recognition Programme. Implemented continuously for the past 18 years, the Programme provides tangible support to young people who have excelled in Greece’s Panhellenic Examinations and secured admission to higher education.

Applications may be submitted online from 1 July to 19 August 2026 via the HELLENiQ ENERGY Student Awards platform.

Since 2009, more than 5,700 high-achieving graduates from 60 General and Vocational High Schools in the areas where the Group operates have been recognised through the Programme, making it one of HELLENiQ ENERGY’s longest-running Corporate Responsibility initiatives.

Programme Eligibility

The Programme is open to graduates of General and Vocational High Schools who, during the 2025-2026 academic year:

  • obtained a High School Leaving Certificate with an overall grade of 18.1 or above;
  • achieved an average score of 16 or above in the Panhellenic Examinations; and
  • are permanent residents of one of the following municipalities:
    • Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Mandra-Eidyllia and Megara in the Thriasio Plain;
    • Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, Delta and Kordelio-Evosmos in Western Thessaloniki;
    • Kozani in Western Macedonia.

The Programme recognises students’ sustained efforts and encourages them to continue their educational journey, supporting young people as they take their first steps in higher education.

Required Supporting Documents

Applications must be accompanied by:

  1. A copy of the applicant’s 2026 High School Leaving Certificate.
  2. A copy of the applicant’s 2026 Panhellenic Examinations Participation Certificate.
  3. A certificate of permanent residence issued by the relevant municipal authority, confirming residence in one of the following municipalities: Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Mandra-Eidyllia, Megara, Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, Delta, Kordelio-Evosmos or Kozani.

Evaluation Process

Applications will be reviewed by a dedicated HELLENiQ ENERGY committee. The final list of successful applicants will be published on the HELLENiQ ENERGY Student Awards platform and on the HELLENiQ ENERGY website on 27 August 2026.

Please note that children of Group employees are not eligible to participate in the Programme.
