For the 14th consecutive year, HELLENiQ ENERGY announces its Scholarship Program for postgraduate studies at leading universities in Greece and abroad, rewarding academic excellence and supporting the next generation of scientists.

For the academic year 2026–2027, up to 40 scholarships will be awarded for full-time postgraduate studies of up to two years’ duration.

The scholarships concern programs at universities in Greece, Europe, as well as in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Applications must be submitted via the online platform https://scholarships.helleniqenergy.gr/greece, where Greek applicants can find detailed information about the Program and upload the required supporting documents. The application deadline is Monday, 18 May 2026, and the results will be announced by August

Scholarships cover tuition fees and, subject to certain conditions, part of living expenses, in accordance with the terms of the call for applications. Specifically, for postgraduate programs in Greece with tuition fees of up to €2,000, an additional monthly financial allowance of €300 may be granted, provided that both the income and geographic criteria are met. For studies abroad and for postgraduate programs with tuition fees of up to €2,000, the additional allowance may reach €600 per month.

Fields of study

The Program covers postgraduate studies in four scientific fields:

  • Engineering and Energy

(Renewable and alternative energy sources, Sustainable transportation, Energy materials, Petroleum engineering)

  • Digital Transformation

(Programming, Networks & Communications, Data Analytics & AI, Cybersecurity, Automation & Robotics)

  • Environmental Sciences

(Climate Change, Sustainable Development, Smart Cities & Local Development)

  • Economics and Management

(Economics, Operations Research & Management, Legal Studies, Marketing & Communication)

International expansion

The Program continues to expand beyond Greece and Cyprus, as it also targets high-achieving students from Bulgaria, Republic of North Macedonia, Montenegro, and – for the first time this year – Serbia. In these six countries, where the Group operates through its subsidiaries (EKO Cyprus, EKO Bulgaria, OKTA, EKO–Jugopetrol and EKO Serbia), the Program strengthens connections with local communities and invests in the countries’ human capital.

Investing in the next generation

Through the Scholarship Program, HELLENiQ ENERGY supports final-year students and university graduates in acquiring specialized knowledge in fields related to today’s energy and economic landscape.

At the same time, scholarship recipients become members of the HELLENiQ ENERGY Alumni Community, an active network for the exchange of knowledge and experience, offering opportunities for growth, networking, and professional development.

To date, HELLENiQ ENERGY has awarded more than 350 postgraduate scholarships at 50 leading universities in Greece and abroad, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to excellence and to the empowerment of the new generation.

A clear example of this approach is also the establishment of the HELLENiQ ENERGY Center for Sustainability and Energy @ Alba Graduate Business School. It is a Model Center of Excellence that brings together business and academic knowledge, with the aim of training new professionals to address modern challenges in the energy sector and contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development.
