As part of its strategy to support the younger generation and create long-term value for society, HELLENiQ ENERGY has donated equipment to the student residences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). The modern equipment has been selected to meet the specific requirements of each area and building within the residences, in accordance with the recommendations of the responsible university service.
This meaningful initiative forms part of HELLENiQ ENERGY’s Corporate Responsibility strategy and includes new, functional furnishings for students’ rooms. The donation also covers the individual requirements of residents with disabilities.
The official handover ceremony took place in the presence of HELLENiQ ENERGY CEO Andreas Shiamishis; the Rector of AUTH, Professor Kyriakos Anastasiadis; Vice-Rector Professor Iakovos Michailidis; the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Development, Professor Nikolaos Maggioros; and the President of the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation, Anna Rokofyllou.
The AUTH student residences accommodate approximately 1,500 students across four buildings. Through this initiative, HELLENiQ ENERGY aims to improve their living conditions, with an emphasis on safety, dignity and functionality.
